Based in High Level, Alberta, Canada, the Watt Mountain Wanderers Snowmobile Club promotes organized snowmobiling in the area.

Alberta's most northerly snowmobile club, Watt Mountain Wanderers maintain an expanding network of trails, provide a pro-snowmobile voice at governmental levels, carry on projects for local tourism and community wellness, and meet regularly to enjoy snowmobiling. We welcome new members.

Trails, Passes, and Conditions

UPDATED Nov 12, 2016

Please call Barry 780 926 1231 for more info

Please use respect and don't rut up the trails when quadding. It helps us get the trails groomed earlier (less snow needed)

Please ride carefully and slow down around the groomer.

The Watt Mountain/Hutch Lake trails: Usual fall maintenance will be required. If you are out this fall please help out and cut a few leaners or toss some logs off the trails...Thanks!

The North East Loop from Footner Lake to Child Lake/Cha Services. Will need reopening after last years logging throughout the area

Child Lake/Cha Services to Machesis Lake: Closed for season. Private Land with no current permissions in place. has blowdowns to be cleared. This runs through private property. Permission needed to access in summer.

Machesis to High Level: Not yet groomed. Brushing was completed last season. Poor Cellular coverage.

While we are lucky enough to be surrounded by crown land, cleared and groomed trails are set up and maintained by volunteers. If you enjoy snowmobiling in the area it would be beneficial for all of us to participate in the club. 'Many hands make light work"
